Foreword
I have been operating UAV for 7 years. Four of my reviews are put on the DJI official homepage. Before that, I operated turbojet when studying in UK. There were some classes similar to Aerospace in Automotive Engineering (my major in college). Thus, I once made turbojet engines (with the thrust of 5kg) with my classmates. Having been back, I turned to multi-rotor UAV from fixed-wing UAV. I have ever written an article about DIY 6-axis aircraft used DJI suite for 6-axis aircraft.Bombing will certainly occur sometime. I experienced it lately. Fine. Please let me talk about the bombing story first.
Bombing and finding UAV

The leading role of bombing: Mavic Pro Omnipotent Suite

The wreckage of my UAV. (The front side faced the ground at that time) . Losses: 2 pairs of broken quick split paddles. Scratches on body. Damages on the motor. The undercarriage dehisced. The great force conducted from the arm deformed the body. The nose was also out of shape. The black base used to avoid visual obstacle cracked. Thankfully the head worked still well.
Normal operating condition: the dynamic balance of the motor is perfect. (The axis rotates stably.)
Damaged condition: the dynamic balance of the motor was disabled. Although it did not affect flying and shooting, it would still be a hidden trouble that had to be fixed. After all, I must to be responsible to the work.
Bombing is inevitable and unfortunate. Thus, the only choice is to repair. I’m confident to my operating skill so I didn’t purchase DJI CARE. More than 160USD is absolutely needed if I send it to the official repair shop. Therefore, I decided to fix it on my own.
Repairing Process
Buy parts first. Arm and motor. The quality is as good as the new one.

New DJI Mavic Pro Lid.

Brand new middle shell. A little expensive. It seems to be cheaper to repair on my own.

Tools:
A screwdriver & lever.

T6 and crosshead would be fine.

screwdriver. I won’t speak too much of it. I’d like to say that screwdriver is just a tool. What really matters is your skill, rather than this “highly regarded” screwdriver.

Soldering iron & Hot Melt Glue Gun

Besides, I haven’t found the essay about repairing Mavic Pro online. Therefore, I have to tear down it by myself. Tear down the six screws in order to take down the upper cover. And the other four screws at the bottom of the lid.

Then pry the lid open with tweezer. After that, you can see the two screws and you can pry the upper cover open next.Be caution of the elastics of the GPS when opening the upper cover.

GPS has to be installed in the new cover. To take down the head, the 4 screws, the elastics of head and the elastics of the front visual obstacle avoiding base must be torn down. The glue on the elastics have to be removed first.

Next is the front obstacle avoidance camera that is fixed with 2 screws. The head and the camera.

Take down the 8 screws on the lower cover. The vision localization and level sensor can be seen.At first, tear down the 3 screws on the vision localization.

Pry the 3 interfaces of elastics.Disconnect the 4 aerials. (Black one relates to the aerial of the front left arm, gray right. And the central two relate to the photo-transmitting and receiving aerials.)

Be careful to pry the central two. There is glue on the elastics. Remove it and pull out the elastics. The picture of the photo and signal transmission parts. The parts are fixed with one screw.

The photo of the baseboard.

The upper board must be taken down as well. There are electronic speed control and flight control parts on the board. The next is to take down the control panel. There is a black sticker on the power contact. Remove it and tear down the 3 screws. If you want to take down the upper control panel, you have to disconnect the brushless motor and electronic speed control. The brushless motor has 3 wires. If you unfortunately take the wrong line, the motor will reverse rather than have a short. Thus, the original connections must be taken down. Besides, each arm has 6 wires because there are navigation signal and receiver on the front arms
