MI smart table lamp review-one of the most worth buying products from Xiaomi

I use to have a Philips table lamp, after a few days of purchase, there was a failure appeared and I cannot reach to after-sales maintenance. It was very disappointing. After I somehow fix it, the experience is not outstanding. I read some good comment about MI’s smart table lamp I decided to buy one for replacement.
Unboxing
Although it is only a table lamp, but the package box is huge. The front side is printed with a printed picture of the MI table lamp. The above is also marked with the red dot award and the if design award. At the top, there is a logo of the Mi. It is obvious that this desk lamp can be controlled by the MI app.

Appearance
The lamp has a overall white impresion, the round base is matched with the bracket and no extra geometry, following the MI‘s product usual concise design style.


The height of the lamp and the radius of the base are 445mm445m150mm, and the length of the lamp and the bracket are equal to make the product look particularly harmonious; the overall size is just right on the desktop.
The base of the lamp is very simple, there is no other content，except for a knob and the symbols. The function of this knob will be explained in detail later.


There is a non-slip rubber pad under the base, and the power interface is hidden behind the lamp holder. The table lamp can be placed on the edge of the table to hide the power cord.
The link between the bracket and the lamp is not hidden but is connected by a striking red wire. This is also the crowning touch of the MI lamp.
The bracket lamp adopts a hinge link, which has a good damping feeling, and the rotation angle can be parallel to the bracket or obliquely upward 45 degrees.


The illumination of the desk lamp can reach 300 lumens, and an RC filter and dimming chip are built in, which can effectively reduce the visual fatigue caused by stroboscopic light.
Remote APP control: easily switch on and off, adjust color temperature and brightness via a knob.
