Shure SE215 is a steady seller for Shure for long time. Single Dynamic Drive produces clear sound with deep bass. I personally love this product because of the clear bass sound. I have use this product over 5 years now and I am still satisfied with the sounds.

So today, I decided to review this product and introduce why this earphone is worth a cost even price range is around $100 — $150.

Shure company earphone is well known as monitoring earphone. SE535 is very widely used for artist like singer. SE846 is use for professional used. And of course! SE535 is better than SE215 and SE846 is better than SE535, but reason why I choose SE215 is not just because of the price, but it can possibly the most commonly used for users.

Shure SE215 is perfect for the people who wants to start join in audio world. There are reason why people buy earphone or sounding devices paying over $1000 or even $5000, to be able to understand this you need to open your ear, and I do believe Shure SE215 is great device to start with.

Shure Design

Almost all the Shure earphone is in-ear form, and over ear shape. Based on the ear canal it can achieve noise isolation.

The main reason why I was be able to use this product for such a long time is because of its design. As you can see from following picture Shure SE215 cable can be detachable with the earpiece, most earphone is damaged because of cable issue, but for sure if cable is damaged you can simply strip off the cable from earpiece and purchase new cable to reuse your earphone just like brand new.

Shure SE215 has 3-color option of Blue, Black and Transparent color and one that I have is transparent color.

Shure SE215 is more relied on bass and low sound. It contains and provide full bass quality with clear low notes, and it does not mean that Shure is not a good earphone for high notes. If you love to listen, club song or hip-hops, which contains many, bass with hidden notes you will love SE215 for sure.

I think that even $100 is too cheap for this product. There are higher entry version of SE215, which is SE315 ($210), SE425 ($269), SE535 ($499), SE846 ($999) SE315 does have better sound balance with middle bass tension, but SE215 is better in low boost sound and clean quality.
