Audio-Technica AT-LP60WH-BT Vinyl Record Player Review: Choice for Beginners

As a very lazy person, I had purchased the vinyl record machine at a price at the beginning of the year but have not written the article until now.

AT-LP60 is a retro vinyl record machine, using a ultra-precision cast aluminium turntable that is fully automatic belt driven, solid, thick and smooth running, which was launched by Audio-Technica in 2016.

The record machine is made up of the Audio-Technica Dual Moving Magnet™ dimensional acoustic axis with the replaceable and high quality playback head, a tone arm controlled by flexible damping and a lifting arm.

This machine supports LP album and vinyl records of 12 and 7 inches, which canbe comfortably played by using the RPM velocity selectors of 33 and 45 shipped with the machine.

The product possesses the ability of automatic operation. You just need to press the button and the machine will do the rest job for you. It will put the playback head to the beginning of the record and lift its arm to go back when the music finished.

This AT-LP60-BT is the version with bluetooth, not only can it connect bluetooth and earphone, but also it can make wired connection to your family stereophony, loudspeaker and other accessories directly.

There are two colors to select. What you should notice is that this machine is possible to be 220 voltage, if domestic customers want to buy this product, they need to buy an electric pressure converter.

After comparison, I choose this AT-LP60 launched by Audio-Technica. Major reasons are as follows:

I. Good Looking: Although I bought vinyl record but I still love science in my heart. Actually I wanted to purchase Sony PS-HX500 before, it is the product shows below (I love it so much because it has faith gold symbol above). Reluctantly, the product is unlisted and not supported bluetooth wireless output in Canada.

II. Bluetooth Output: Because I can not make a definite distinction among different levels earphones and I am satisfied with the earphone without noise and current sound. So bluetooth connection with a good bluetooth speaker for the machine is enough for me.

III. Simple Operation: After all, I am just interested in vinyl record machine but not professional about it. So the simpler the function is, the better and the more convenient the operation is, the better.

It does have to be said that the black and white iron triangle is the cushion shipped with the machine, there is an aluminum-made turntable under the cushion.

User's Feeling

Because I ca not make a definite distinction among different levels earphones and hardly studied the sound. So I would like to talk about the convenience of the operation.

I. Starting Up/ Shut Down:

These two buttons below are the play button and stop button. There is no single power button on the machine, and it can play at any time if it is plugged in.

II. Play/ Stop (See The Picture Above)

It is easy to play the record machine. You just need to put the vinyl record on the machine and cover the lid (The machine can also play if is uncover, it is much cleaner to have a cover on it.) and press the Start button directly. AT-LP60 is automatic to play and do not need to put the stylus on the record, the machine will rock the arm to the suitable place to put it down. It is an easy operation without hurting the stylus and record.
