Personal Review of MEIZU EP2X Headphone

Since I have lost one Vivo Xplay5's original earphone silicone sleeve,  and other sizes of sleeves are not suitable for my ear holes, so I brought a black version of the Meizu EP2X in-ear headphones with a black Friday discount last year, the box is black and white with a simple style, there is a disposable plastic seal. You shoud pay attention that If you buy one without the outer seal, it is very likely to be a second-hand return. Open the package, there are a brief instruction about the headset at the bottom of the box.

The headphone is embedded in the silicone of the box. Its shape is similar to the Apple EarPods headphones and some subtle differences in details. Overall, this type of MEIZU headphone has a highly similarity with Apple.

First expression, the ilicone box is very soft and elastic, very comfortable to touch; a MEIZU logo at the bottom of the box. External engineering plastic shell of the earphones is relatively flat, black color is very bright and easy to leave fingerprints and oil. The body is seemingly venting design, which has some small gap.

At the bottom of the line control is the brand logo of Meizu. The line control has 3 buttons, which are marked with plus and minus signs and one point. The addition and subtraction buttons can adjust the volume and replace the song. The middle point is to play/pause songs and also to answer/hang up calls. The three buttons on the remote control are visually concealed. The actual touching only gives a slight convex feeling. The operation feeling is kind tough and needs to be pressed hard. I personally do not like this kind of operation feel.

One-two wire harness, L-shaped plug, with wire control, so it is level 4, the headphone cable is  is soft. Simply talk about the sense of listening to headphones, this headset belongs to the basic class, it is also suitable for use with mobile phones, after all, the price is cheap. Just plug in the vivo Xplay5 phone and start listening to music. The high-frequency and middle-frequency of the earphones is relatively bright and light and the style tends to be younger. It is a straightforward restoration and has no modification. The low frequency is not suitable for listening to BT level or overweight low frequency music. The volume feeling is not enough, also tight, the low frequency can only cope with pop songs. The overall sound of the headphones is soft. I think this headset is more suitable for listening to pop songs with mobile phones. It is quite suitable for listening to songs on the way to and from work. But if you have a very high sound quality for headphones, it is best to buy earplugs specially for music players. After all, this plug is just an entry-level plug.
