Just as usual, Xiaomi still brings its modern minimalist design philosophy onto this product. We are still seeing a clean design with an all-white body.


The product actually consists of 2 parts, which are a metal base and the LED light.


With a dimension of 960 x 640mm, the Ceiling lamp features large display and can be installed in a room of 25–35㎡ area. It adopts an aluminium alloy frame, providing both strength and lightness. The 0.8mm backboard is thin but dense, maintaining its shape over time. The surface display is finely sprayed to transmit uniform lighting.
All you need to do is install the base on the ceiling first and then snap the light onto that part. It’s pretty easy and just took me just about 2 minutes to set it up.


The lamp also has a patched-tight screw section is which is designed to keep bugs and dust from entering. A bug-proof box has been included surrounding the power connection inlet to avoid the bug and dust from flying into.
As you can see, the light bar is divided into two bundles and connected to the driving power separately.


The light bar consists of lamp beads of warm and cold hues.


Now we can use the app or remote control to turn on/off, change brightness, color temperature, or switch among some preset modes. The color temperature ranges from 2700K to 6500K and the maximum brightness is 2,000 lumens. Besides, high color rendering is key to an energetic living room. This Yeelight Pro LED ceiling lamp has a color rendering index (CRI) of 95, which allows it to show a high degree of color hue.


It has a power rating of 90W and can provide up to 6000 Lumen brightness. The brightness can easily be adjusted so too for the color temperature. As compared to my previous ceiling lights, the Xiaomi Yeelight is a lot brighter. It can even provide enough light for reading a book.
