Wireless headphones have come a long way. When they were first introduced, most people preferred the stability and sound quality of wired headsets and they were avoided like the plague due to poor connection, short battery life and bad sound quality just a couple of years ago. Today, things have changed. Thankfully, now is a perfect time to grab a pair of wireless headphones.
Design
As you can clearly see, the FIIL DRIIFTER Pro have a moderately thick but flexible neck band that connects to the two ear pieces. This goes behind the head, over the neck unlike the usual headphones which go on the head. This makes the it one of the most comfortable wireless headphones I’ve worn. They’re also extremely lightweight thanks to is plastic and rubber construction.

I have used them while watching TV and also when I am out walking or running. I’m happy to say that they are very comfortable and they stay in place even through movement. Besides, my ears are really small and I couldn’t ever find anything that works for both taking calls and long runs. So I like how they come with a few different ear bud sizes to swap out and find the right size. Also, I like how the buds are magnetic and stick to each other when you are not using them so they don’t fall off or get tangled.

On the right side of the neckband, there are buttons for volume control, play/pause and a flap covering the microUSB charging port. It’s a shame there’s no USB-C charging as a majority of phones have moved to the port. On the left side, comes a button for Active Noise Cancellation(ANC) function. This is great for long flights, as it cuts out a substantial amount of low-frequency noise.

While plastic help the FIIL DRIIFTER with weight, the headphone feels a bit cheap. Yet thankfully, the headphones are sweat and water resistant so you’ll be able to take them to the gym without worry.
Sound Performance
DRIIFTER PRO has 3 volume-dependent EQs paired with a proprietary digital signal processing algorithm. All this engineering means DRIIFTER PRO packs substantial technology to ensure accurate, exceptional audio output rarely found in an in-ear headphone.
But bass is a bit heavy as there are moments when the mids overwhelmed by bass.
All in all, sound quality of the headphones is great. But phone call quality is lame.
Other Features:
Dual Drivers:Each earbud contains two drivers to deliver high and low frequencies dynamically.
Active Noise Cancellation:Music won’t get drowned out by the outside sound during your commute, with Active Noise Cancellation(ANC). The wireless headphones use additional microphones to tame the roar of jet engines on your flight but still allow you to hear the flight attendant. Using the FIIL + APP you can make adjustments to the noise cancellation level, and even turn it off when you don’t need it.
