Vernee T3 Pro is another budget offering from Vernee itself. It has a good design and a big battery and a decent camera. Also, it does come with a headphone jack and an 18:9 screen for the pleasant viewing experience. To know more, check out our complete review of the Vernee T3 Pro.
Unboxing
The Vernee T3 pro smartphone comes in a white box which feels average in quality. On the front, there is nothing but the name of the device only written in a blue box with rounded corners. Flipping the box reveals some key features of the device and some details about the company, MRP etc. The box weighs around 0.35Kg and in term of dimensions, the size is 16.00 x 8.30 x 4.20 cm. Opening up the box you will find
- Vernee T3 Pro
- User Manual
- Charging Cable
- Power Adapter
- Screen Protector
- Silicon Transparent Case
Design and Build Quality
Talking about the design, the Vernee T3 Pro looks nothing different from other budget smartphones. Although, when you flip the device, you will see that the back is textured and feels premium to touch even though it’s made from plastic. The frame of the T3 Pro is made from metal which adds a premium heft to the device.

While the Vernee T3 Pro weighs 159 gram, at 9.8mm it’s quite thick. Yeah, it houses a big battery but there are many other smartphones which houses much bigger battery while still maintaining a slim form factor. The T3 Pro is available in three colors- Blue, Red, and Black.
Upfront, there is an 18:9 display with an earpiece, front camera, proximity and ambient light sensor above it. The Micro USB charging port and 3.5mm audio jack are up at the top. On the right are the Power and Volume Key. Moving to the back, there is a Dual camera unit, fingerprint scanner, and a speaker. Overall, the build quality is pretty good and we have no issues with it.
Display

The Vernee T3 Pro sports a 5.5 inch IPS LCD screen with a resolution of 1440x720 and a pixel density of 293 pixels-per-inch. It’s an 18:9 screen which fits in a traditional 5-inch screen form factor. The bezels around the screen are slim but not enough to compete with flagships. Talking about the screen quality, it’s averagely vibrant, has decent colors. The viewing angles and sunlight visibility is also pretty average. It’s a good screen for people who like to enjoy watching series or movies on their smartphone inside the house. Only that way you can actually like the screen on T3 Pro for its immersiveness.
Performance and Software
The Vernee T3 Pro comes with a budget chip which makes it a decent choice for day to day tasks. It comes with the MediaTek MT6739 which is a Quad-Core SoC capable of reaching a max frequency of 1.3 GHz. Along with it, there is a PowerVR GE8100 GPU to handle graphics related tasks. There is only a single variant of T3 Pro which comes with 3GB of RAM and 16GB of storage. Although the storage is pretty low, you can use a microSD card to expand the storage up to 32GB.

Talking about real-world usage, the performance is fine with basic usage like chatting on Whatsapp or browsing FaceBook etc. However, playing heavy titles like PUBG mobile isn’t possible since the chipset is pretty week. But you can still play 2D games like Subway Surfer, Candy Crush etc. Hence, if you are looking for a device to play heavy games like PUBG or Asphalt 9, T3 Pro is not the one for you.
The Vernee T3 Pro comes with Android 8.1 Oreo which is almost stock. There isn’t much bloatware on the device, The animations are smooth and scrolling feels fluid. Overall, the OS part is good but software updates is still a question as Android Pie has started rolling out.
Camera and Battery Life
On the back, the Vernee T3 Pro comes with a Dual Camera unit which houses a primary 13 Megapixel sensor with f/2.2 aperture and a secondary 2 Megapixel sensor for portrait shots. Up front, there is a 5 Megapixel sensor which comes with Beauty Mode 2.0 to enhance the skin tone. There are other features too like Panorama, HDR etc.

Talking about the image quality, it can capture some good images considering there is optimal light. The photos it takes are crisp and have good colors but aren’t comparable to an expensive smartphone. All I can say its good for the price. However, the quality takes a nosedive during night time. Pretty much the same goes for the front camera as well. The primary camera is also capable of recording 1080p in 30fps without any type of stabilization.
The Vernee T3 Pro comes with a big 4080 mAh battery which isn’t removable and provides great battery life. Even with heavy usage, the battery comfortably lasted around 2 days which is pretty awesome. Vernee also claims that T3 Pro has a standby time of 29 days but wasn’t able to test that. It does support Fast Charging but the 5V/2A charger doesn’t charge the device as fast as some high-end flagships. It takes around 2 to fully charge the battery which is average at best.
More Features
The Vernee T3 Pro does support LTE, WIFI, Bluetooth and GPS. There is also a memory card slot which can be used to expand the memory up to 32GB. Sensors on the T3 Pro includes Fingerprint, Ambient light sensor, Proximity etc. There is no NFC or IR emitter on the device. The fingerprint scanner is on the back and it’s pretty fast as well. However, it misses my finger sometimes but it works 8/10 times which is good. There is also a Face Unlock feature which is super quick but doesn’t work well in low light.
The speaker on the Vernee T3 Pro is loud and exceeded my expectations. Although, the bass is lacking which is a problem with the speaker in budget smartphones. Although we can’t blame anyone as to cut down the cost, some sacrifices are needed to be made. However, there is a headphone jack which allows you to play music on external speakers or earphones.
